It feels like every Yeezy Slide release has somewhat of a different fit with some being more dramatic like the Orange Enflame. In fact, usually on most slides, your heel kind of lands on the inside of the shoe, but in the Yeezy Slide, your heel is actually supposed to rest a little bit over the back of it. He always goes for a much more organic and a much more futuristic minimalistic look for his sneakers. In fact, like the Yeezy Foam Runner yeezy slide, even after wearing the shoe for a month, there’s barely any wear on the shoe at all. If you’re after an earthy tone with more depth than the “Core” and “Earth Brown” releases, this Yeezy Slide is a fantastic option. The “Onyx” colourway made its first public appearance at the Miami-based Donda 2 listening event in February 2022. This smooth, all-black rendition flew off the shelves as soon as it was launched, quite like all its Yeezy predecessors.
In our case the authentic is “HQ6448” and the replica is “FW6345”. You can see how the replica’s text is slightly cut off at the digit “5”. To my surprise, the second pair, which is also a US size 9, feels much tighter and maybe feels like the Onyx and the Green Glow.
The price has gone down significantly since they started putting more pairs out and started restocking them.
